This past spring saw many instructors shifting to hybrid classrooms, combining in-person and online teaching in varying amounts with the aid of virtual teaching resources. While the widespread shift to the hybrid model in the spring semester may have been initiated by necessity, ample evidence of its positive effects suggests that it is here to stay.

In this session, Professors Peter and Nir will both speak about what they learned during the process of designing these courses:
- how do you design assessments suited to hybrid courses?
- how can you bridge the gap between the hybrid classroom and the real world?
- how can faculty ensure that online and in-person elements complement each other?
- what kinds of virtual resources can help this process?
